2019 Crystal Hunters is a discontinued game concept I worked on for 9 months with a developer, so it was just the two of us and we had a designer help us in the end. We also had an investor and math specialist for the supporting parts. We focused on getting a MVP as soon as possible. But through many playtests we just constantly changed the design. We started Isometric, but for me that was a lot of extra work animating, so changed to flat 2d. I also changed the art to be more appealing to the age group, focusing more on 6-7 years old.
Content made was: maps, animated units, unit designs, game play, infinite amoun of ui iterations, user flow, lore and race design, world building, props, rewardsystem, particles and effects, feedback effects, minigame ideas and assets/animations.
